Oscillating Web and Sheet Cleaners

Polymag Tek invented it’s “Oscillating Web Cleaner (OWC)” over 12 years ago.

Several Polymag® patents, and web and sheet cleaning products incorporate this unique Oscillation technology. Oscillation increases the cleaning efficiency and life of the adhesive tape when used to clean the “CCR”. The consumable adhesive tape life can be extended 5 to 20 times.

With conventional non-oscillating tape and/or “Contact Cleaning Roll (CCR)”, any slit edge dust or debris immediately saturated the CCR and Tape at the edges and the dirt stops being collected and thus stays on the substrate and collects in the process.

The several types of Polymag® Oscillating Cleaners can Oscillate the CCR and Tape independently or both together. The photo above shows how the edge dirt is collected over a wide area and avoids saturating the two roll edges.

The Polymag® Web Cleaners shown above are two of the several designs offered to solve your specific cleaning application. Example: Oscillation has been employed cleaning Label Press webs and wide width web running at speeds in excess of 3,000 fpm.
