Nip to Roll Oscillating Web Cleaner - 80" Wide Web X 3000 FPM

Polymag Tek's OWC Web Cleaner System cleans both sides of the film. Loose contamination on the surface of the web is transferred to the Contact Cleaning Roller (CCR) to prevent product defects.

The CCR's are individually positioned into a nip configuration allowing the CCR to lightly contact the moving web against a nip roll. When the CCR becomes contaminated, the roll retracts to be cleaned by the auto water wash cleaner. The auto cleaner uses a wet cleaning fabric to remove dirt from the CCR. After cleaning, there is a drying cycle. The clean CCR is then ready to be put back into service while the other CCR is retracted for auto cleaning. When the system is in the "Off" mode both CCR's are retracted and neither roll is in contact with the moving web. The web can continue to be transported through the Web Cleaner without being cleaned. Operator involvement is every 3-5 days.

Contact Cleaning is superior to vacuum web cleaner systems especially at high web speeds and very small particle sizes.
