4 Roll Wide Web Cleaner with Tape Drawers

Polymag Tek’s 4 Roll Wide Web Cleaner System (4RWWC-DS) is designed to remove loose particulate contamination from a moving substrate. The Polymag® Blue ContactCleaning Rolls (CCR) contact both sides of the web in a nip configuration as it transports through the web cleaner. Surface contamination is transferred from the web to the CCR’s. The 6.0” O.D. CCR’s are then continuously cleaned with TwoAdhesive Tape Rolls. Contact Cleaning Roll (CCR) Web Cleaning Systems have better cleaning efficiencies than vacuum cleaner systems.

The top CCR creates a nip between the web and the lower fixed CCR. The web drives the 2 CCR’s and the 2 tape rollers. This cleaner is designed with tape drawers to pull out to change tape easily.

The contamination from the webs collect on the surface of the Tape Rolls. when the Tape rolls become saturated, a layer of tape can be removed. Each tape roll contains 66 feet of adhesive tape. Approximately one foot of tape is used per tape change.
