Thin Film 6 Roll Sheet Cleaner System

Polymag Tek's “Thin Film” Sheet Cleaner System (model 6RSC-TF) is designed to remove loose particulate contamination from very thin (.002”-.01 thick) sheeted substrates. The four Polymag® Blue Contact Cleaning Rolls (CCR’s) contact both sides of the sheet as it is transported through the unit. Surface contamination is transferred from the sheet to the CCR’s. The 2.0” O.D. CCR’s are then continuously cleaned with Two Adhesive Tape Rolls.

The bottom CCR assembly is driven by a variable speed motor. The speed of the sheet cleaner can be adjusted manually from the Operator Display located on the electrical equipment panels.

The contamination from the sheets collect on the surface of the Adhesive Tape Rollers. When these rolls become saturated, a layer of tape can be removed. Approximately one foot of tape is used per tape change.

Polymag Tek's thin film sheet cleaner offers operational versatility for particle removal.

Our Thin Film Sheet Cleaner effectively removes particulate contamination as small as 1 micron from sheet substrates as thin as .001".

Best of all, the Thin Film Sheet Cleaner works as a stand-alone unit or integrates right into your process line.

Options include conveyors, clam shell frame, tape drawer slides and stand.

The CCRs never over saturate as long as the adhesive tape top laser is changed when saturated. Two tape roll continuously clean the CCRs and are easily installed with a quick release design.
