The Polymag® Air Table:
The newest Polymag® custom sheet cleaner system integrates in & out feed air tables and any of its several uniquely designed sheet cleaners. This new cleaning system conveys sheets of any composition; thickness range of .001” to .5”; sheet widths of 2” to 120”; and sheet lengths of 4 inches to 20 ft. or more. The sheets will not scratch like roller or belt conveyors or fall through the gaps of roller conveyors. Potential contamination generation of roller or belt conveyors is eliminated. The sheets can easily be positioned for the accurate alignment to the “Contact Cleaning Rolls” (CCR’s). The sheets can even turned 0 to 360 degrees on the air tables without scratching. The Polymag® tape rolls are mounted “shaft-less” using spring loaded gudgeons for quicker and much easier tape roll changes.
Optional Cleaner features:
1. Pull-out adhesive tape “Drawer Slides” for convent tape changes Even while the sheets are still being cleaned for non-stop operation.
2. Split “Clam Shell” design is available to open the top CCR & Tape Assembly for the bottom for even easier CCR change-out and routine maintenance.
3. Patented Oscillation of the tape and/or “CCR” (Contact Cleaning Roll). Oscillation increases the cleaning efficiency and life of the adhesive tape. The consumable adhesive tape life can be extended 5 to 20 times.
