5 Roll Sheet Cleaner System
Thin Film

Polymag Tek's “Thin Film” Sheet Cleaner System (model 5RSC-TF) is designed to remove loose particulate contamination from substrate.

The Polymag® Blue Contact Cleaning Rolls (CCR) contacts both sides of the sheet as it is transported between them. Surface contamination is transferred from the sheet to the CCR’s. The CCR’s are then continuously cleaned with Two Tape Rolls. Grooved rollers with stripping fingers transport thin films.

The bottom CCR is driven by a variable speed motor. The speed of the sheet cleaner is adjusted manually from the control panel located on the operator side of the sheet cleaner base.

The contamination from the sheets collect on the surface of the Tape Rolls. When these rolls become saturated, a layer of tape can be removed. Approximately one foot of tape is used per tape change.
